This a page for Allison Candreva's resume.
Although I have worked in many different places, I have only included my most relevant experience.
I had my first taste of journalism in high school when I was a part of the school's literary magazine, Poetic Justice. I started taking the class when I was a sophomore and was there until I graduated. I loved every aspect of that class, but my favorite things to do were laying out the magazine and copy editing the pages. Every year, the class of 30 students put out four 30-page issues.
Although I loved the magazine in high school, I went to culinary school when I graduated to pursue my love of cooking. Eventually I found my way to Gainesville and the University of Florida to major in journalism.
My articles have been published in The Town-Crier, Wellington the Magazine, The Independent Florida Alligator and Satellite Magazine. I interned at The Satellite from March 2008 to December 2008 and was a writer, web editor, calendar editor, copy editor and assistant editor.
I have been a photographer for six years, so I am capable of taking pictures for the stories that I write. Every story, with the exception of the classic tattoo story, uses photos I have taken. I can write minimal XHTML and CSS, and I am skilled with both Mac and Windows computers. I am also proficient with InDesign, Photoshop and Dreamweaver.
